Abstract

What does the future look like? Artificial intelligence has made incredible progress over the past 20 years. AI impacts all businesses. It will be an integral part of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries in the near future; and in some cases, this is already the case. The innovation brought by AI in the pharmaceutical industry also raises some fundamental questions. Understanding in which area AI can support the processes of the pharmaceutical industry (example: review of analytical data, batch record review, etc.) is one thing. However, understanding how data is leveraged and the mechanics behind producing results is another crucial aspect in our use of the technology. We'll explore the mechanics and processes of building AI technologies that ensure maximal data protection, that produce quality and consistent data and that meets GXP requirements.
